Both medical practitioners and commentators emphasize the use of figs (Anjeer). One of the main reasons for this is its numerous medical benefits. We cannot forget the history of the fig (Anjeer), due to which it has great importance. According to another tradition, when Hazrat Adam (A.S.) was seduced by the devil and ate a fruit from a tree and his seventy coats became visible, he used fig leaves to hide them. Figs (Anjeer) are also mentioned in the Quran. Although it has been mentioned only once, it has come in such abundance which we cannot ignore its importance. The translation of the first verses of Surah Al-Tin is as follows.

In this verse, Allah SWT swears by figs (Anjeer) and olives, which means that this fruit is of great importance in terms of health.
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) has also emphasized the use of fig (Anjeer) history. According to tradition, a gift of a plate of figs (Anjeer) came to him from somewhere. He (peace be upon him) said to the honorable Companions sitting next to him, Eat, without a doubt, this is the fruit of Paradise (fig (Anjeer) benefits). Figs also reduce the intensity of thirst and help in perspiration. It is also instrumental in cough, phlegm, and asthma. It protects against frostbite in cold weather and is an important food for children's growth. It protects against mental diseases and strengthens the heart and liver. It is also a very useful fruit for blood pressure patients.
All these benefits prove that fig (Anjeer) is a very useful fruit and must be included in our diet. Two or three figs (Anjeer) daily are enough to keep us healthy. You can also eat its seeds, dissolve them in milk, and eat it with honey.
