The fourth Caliph, Amir al-Mu'minin, Hazrat Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib was born thirty years after Aam al-Fael and ten years before the announcement of Prophethood. Upbringing, Title, and Surname Hazrat Moula Ali (RA)

Hazrat Moula Ali (RA) was brought up in the Holy of Holies of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He saw the beauty of the place, listened to the words of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), learned his habits, and his pure feet were never polluted by the impurity of every idol. The Blessed Marriage

The blessed marriage of Hazrat Moula Ali (RA) and Hazrat Syed Tunnabi B. Fatimah (RA) took place in the month of Safar, Rajab, or Ramadan, 2 Hijri. (Ithaf al-Saqeel al-Manawi, page: 2).

Dowry and Accommodation

Dowry and Accommodation Hazrat Bibi Fatima's dowry consisted of a sheet, a pillow filled with palm bark, a bowl, two matkas, and two mills for grinding flour.

Mother's Service Hazrat Fatima (RA) used to serve Hazrat Ali (RA)'s mother Majda, so Hazrat Ali (RA) while serving his mother said: Fatima Zahra will make you careless about household chores. (Al-Asaba, Volume 8, Page 269 Summary).

A Bed

Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Fatimah had the same bed and that too was a ram's skin, which was laid down at night and rested, then in the morning grass was put on the same skin, and fodder was provided for the camel. And there was no servant in the house. (Ibn Sa'd's Tabaqat, Volume 8, Page 18).

A Sense of Family

One day the Messenger of God, (PBUH), came to Hazrat Ali's house and said: Where are my children (i.e. Hasan and Hussain)? Hazrat Fatimah (RA) said: Today we got up in the morning and there was not a single thing in the house that anyone could taste. Their Father said that They will cry in front of you and you have nothing to shut up them, so they have gone to such and such a Jew. The Messenger of God, (PBUH), went there and saw that the two children were playing with a surahi and in front of them, there were little dates. The honorable Messenger, (PBUH), said: Ali! Take the children home before the sun sets, Hazrat Ali said: Prophet of Allah, peace, and blessings be upon him! There is not a grain in the house since this morning. If you stay a little longer, I will collect some baby dates for Fatima. Hearing this, Rahmat-i-Alam, may God bless him and grant him peace, sat down. Hazrat Alikarram Allahuwajaha Al-Kareem collected some dates and tied them to cloth. (Mujam Kabir, Volume 22, Page 422, Hadith: 1040).

The Vow for The Recovery of Children

Once Hasnain (RA) fell ill, Hazrat Ali Murtaza (RA) and Hazrat Fatima (RA) took a three-day vow for the children's recovery. Hazrat Ali Karamullah Rabiyyah Al Kareem brought a few kilos of barley from a Jew, Hazrat Khatun-e-Jannat cooked it for three days, but when it was time to break the fast and put the loaves in front of him, only one day. A pauper, an orphan one day, a prisoner one day came, and these three days. The bread was given to these people and the family members broke their fast with only water and followed the fast. (Khazain al-Irfan, page: 29, Al-Dhar, sub-verse: 8 Page: 1073 summary).

Eid Day

On the day of Eid-ul-Adha, some guests came to Ameerul-Mu'minin, Hazrat Ali, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he offered them Khazeera (a kind of food made of flour and meat). Seeing this, he said: May God bless you. Feed us chicken. He said: The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said that only two vessels from the wealth of Allah are lawful for the Caliph, one in which the Caliph and his family eat, and the other in which he eats. Put it in front of people. (Musnad Ahmad, Vol. 1, p. 169, Hadith: 578).

Execution of Wills

Hazrat Umama was the daughter of Hazrat Zainab, the sister of Bibi Fatimah (RA), Hazrat Fatimah (RA) had bequeathed to Hazrat Ali (RA) that after my death, he should marry Umama. So Hazrat Ali (R.A.) married her following the will. (Zarqani Ali Al-Wahhab, vol. 2, p. 358).

Hospitality

When he married Umm al-Benin bint Hazim, he stayed with her for 7 days. On the seventh day, some women came to meet his wife. Seeing this, he gave his slave a dirham and said: Bring her to buy grapes for the guests. . (Ibn Abi al-Duniya, Al-Jaw, vol. 4, p. 127, number: 281).

Justice Between Spouses

Hazrat Ali, may God bless him and grant him peace, divided it among his two wives in such a way that if he spent a day with the first wife, he would buy half a dirham of meat for her, and if he spent a day with the second wife, he would also buy half a dirham of meat for her. (Al-Zuhd Lahamd, p. 157, amount: 696).

Marriage and Children of Hazrat Ali Bin Abi Talib r.a

During Hazrat Bibi Fatimah's lifetime, Hazrat Ali Karram Allah Wa Jaha Al Kareem was not allowed to marry again, but after her death, Hazrat Ali Karram Allah Wa Jaha Al Kareem had many marriages one after the other, he had 14 boys and 18 girls. Imam Hasan, Hussain, Mohsin, Bibi Zainab, and Bibi Umm Kulsoom were born from the blessed womb of Bibi Fatima Zahra. Hazrat Mohsin died in childhood. (Riyadh al-Nazrah, vol. 2, p. 239).
