Imam Hussain (RA)

Imam-Hussain-Darbar
 Imam Hussain (RA)

Assalam Alaikum! Inshallah, today I will tell you the story of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) Family Of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Bismillah!

The story of Imam Hussain (RA)

Imam Hussain (RA) was the grandson of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). He was the son of Hazrat Ali Ibn Ali Talib and Hazrat Fatima (RA). Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) loved Hazrat Hussain and his brother very much. There are many examples where the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Whoever loves me and loves them both, his father and his mother will be with me on the Day of Resurrection.

On another occasion, he said, "Hussein belongs to me and I belong to him. God loves those who love Hussein. Hussein is the grandson of grandchildren." After the death of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), his mother also passed away. And in a few years, his father was martyred. To make his brother Hazrat Imam Hassan. Hazrat Imam Hussain had to take responsibility for Imam. During this time, after the martyrdom of his brother, Mu'awiyah, a companion of the Prophet, and someone who was very much at odds with the family of the Prophet, including the great battle of Safin against Imam Ali (RA), killed his son. Yazid was appointed his successor.

Prophet Muhammad's love for Imam Hussain

This was against his brother's agreement and Muawiyah, a messenger now standing in front of Hussein, angered Yazid. One day, while Hussein was visiting Mecca, he heard that there was a message for the Iraqi people that they wanted to swear allegiance to him and his family. Not to Muawiyah and Yazid. Hussein received more than 500 letters from Iraq. He went to Kufa where he was pledged allegiance by the people living there. Before reaching the city of Kufa, he asked his cousin Muslim Ibn Aqeel to go to Kufa to assess the situation there, but the situation in Kufa had changed.

Yazid's army had already bribed the people of Kufa. And they swore allegiance to Yazid. When the Muslims reached the city, they were greeted by some people who wanted to swear allegiance to Hazrat Hussain. But Yazid's army found out that he was in the city when he was killed for not swearing allegiance to Yazid. Hazrat Hussain was not aware of the situation in Kufa. The companions of the Prophet warned him to go to Kufa, but he continued and continued his journey to the city. Suddenly, Hur and his army surrounded him near Al-Qudsiya Hur and worked for Yazid, and he was instructed to stop the family from advancing further in Kufa.

Hazrat Imam Hussain history

Hur asked Imam Hussain (RA): O grandson of the Prophet, where are you going? The Imam replied "to Iraq" and Hur replied. "I order you to return and not to go to Kufa." Nevertheless, Imam Hussein went on his way to Iraq. The family then reached Karbala. He stayed there for 2 days till the 2nd of Muharram. But soon the number reached four thousand soldiers. Hazrat Hussain thought about his family. Imam Hussein's camp consisted of men, women, and children over the age of 80. He finally decided to consider protecting his family. Shammar and his soldiers soon captured the camp. He ordered Hazrat Hussain (RA) to swear allegiance to Yazid. But Hazrat Hussain did not comply. On 9th Muharram, Hazrat Hussain saw that Yazid's army was approaching his camp.

He asked his brother Abbas to meet the soldiers and find out what was happening. When Abbas spoke to the soldiers, they said that if they did not swear allegiance to Yazid, they would receive orders to search for Hussein. Have happened When Abbas informed Hazrat Hussain, he knew that his end was near. Hazrat Hussain requested that they be given another night to worship Allah. The army agreed and gave them another day to stay. That night, the whole family worshiped Allah and worshiped Subhan Allah and Talha. Although he knew he was going to die the next day, the family remained strong and together. After the prayers, Hazrat Hussain held a gathering for his family and companions. He told them that Yazid wanted to kill him alone, not his family.

He told them to leave the camp and save their lives. But no one wanted to go! He was ready to give his life to the family of the Prophet. He swore allegiance to death. Let us remember Hur, the leader of the army that initially prevented Hussein from entering Kufa. He realized he was on the wrong side of the war. He was terrified when he thought of killing the surviving family of the Prophet! Hur, and his son, and four soldiers were walking towards Hussein's camp. When he met the Imam, he was exhausted with grief.

He apologized and begged her to fight him. On the morning of 10th Muharram, Hazrat Hussain led the prayers of his family and companions. Not only this, but he also led the prayers of the opposition. And when they had finished praying, they saw the army approaching, and they lined up outside their tents to defend themselves. They were 72, facing a large army of thousands of soldiers! Hur was the first to fight in the war. But he had no chance against the army of thousands. Although he fought valiantly, he was soon killed. They fought bravely all morning. The fighting continued throughout the afternoon and soon all the comrades were martyred, leaving only the family members.

Imam's nephew, Hazrat Hassan's son, Hazrat Qasim, contacted Imam and asked him to go to the battlefield. But the Imam rejected his request. Hazrat Qasim was upset, so he contacted his mother and talked to her. He then handed her a letter and asked her to give it to her uncle. This letter was written by Imam Hassan (RA) before he was martyred. He knew this day would come soon, and so he begged his brother to let his son fight for him. Imam Hussain (RA) was forced to allow it and Hazrat Qasim went to the battlefield. But he too was soon martyred.

Finally, Imam Hussein went to the battlefield. He reintroduced himself as the grandson of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and his only crime was that he did not swear allegiance to Yazid and his sinful ways. Soon, Shammar and his army approached Hazrat Hussain, who bravely confronted many of them. But the number was more than bravery and he was soon martyred. "Ana Allah was Ana Ilya Rajaun" One day the whole mini-army: the men of the family and Imam Hussain's companions were martyred. By evening, the only surviving male member of the family, Hazrat Zainul Abidin, was left with the honorable women and children of the house. God knows best and has a plan.

ZIYARAT E KARBALA Imam Hussain (RA)

Hazrat Zain-ul-Abidin did not fight in Karbala because he was very ill, he had a high fever due to which he was unable to raise his head. He was the only male companion for women and children. On the night of the 10th of Muharram, the women, now in captivity, began their long journey through the hot deserts of Karbala. They traveled through the burning sands to the cities of Tikrit, Mosul, and Aleppo. These virtuous women were taken to Syria where Imam Hussain's brave Bibi Zainab faced Yazid. She stood before him and told the world about the atrocities that the Prophet's family had endured. Yazid was ridiculed by this powerful woman and people now knew the story of Karbala.

Zainab was martyred after revealing the truth. It was the destiny of this pious woman to spread the story of Karbala. The whole story could have been buried in the hot desert and forgotten had it not been for him. Through all her pain and suffering, she managed to keep the story alive.
