There are 114 Surahs in the Holy Quran which are further divided into two categories namely Makki Surahs and Madani Surahs in the Holy Quran. All the surahs of the Holy Quran are not equal in length, some are long and some are short. The longest Surah of the Holy Quran is Surah Al-Baqarah which has 286 verses and the shortest Surah of the Quran is Surah Al-Kawthar which has only 3 verses.

Surah Yasin: It is the 36th Surah of the Quran and it has 5 bows and 83 verses and it is the Makki Surah. Recitation of Surah Yasin will help you solve the problems of daily life and remove many doubts of the heart.

Surah Al-Rahman: It is the 55th Surah of the Holy Quran which has 78 verses. The word Rahman means the Most Merciful and is a Meccan Surah of the Qur'an. There are many benefits of reciting Surah Rahman such as one who reads this Surah will never face bad times.

There are a total of 558 Rukus in the 114 surahs of the Holy Quran. The division of Rukus in the Qur'an was not part of the Holy Book at the time of revelation but was introduced later to facilitate the completion of the Qur'an on the 27th night of Ramadan.
