Muslims around the world celebrate Milad-un-Nabi, and Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the birth of the last Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar. Many people ask about Eid Milad and the rule of Nabi, in Pakistan, you can see Milad celebrations of Nabi in every big and small city, town, and village. As soon as the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal begins, people start organizing Milad ceremonies and other events at different places. Many people hold these celebrations in their homes, while large celebrations are organized by various religious and social organizations. Almost every educational institution, including schools, colleges, and universities, organizes programs related to Eid Milad-un-Nabi. Many people gather to march across the country.

Karachi, Islamabad, Quetta, Lahore, and Peshawar are the major cities of Pakistan, and thousands of Milad-e-Nabi celebrations take place every year. On the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, people start their day with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an and special prayers for the Muslims of the country and the world. For the special day, people decorate their houses, offices, shops, and other buildings with green flags and transfers. Many mosques are similarly decorated.


Another way, people celebrate Eid-ul-Milad by making special utensils. People not only enjoy these dishes themselves but also share them with neighbors, relatives, friends, and family. Many people also arrange a large amount of food for the needy. These arrangements are usually made on the side of the road and in many other places. Many religious and social organizations hold Qur'an recitation and Naat (poetry in praise of Muhammad (P.B.U.H)) competitions. These competitions take place in different cities of the country. Many famous religious scholars and Naat reciters take part in these competitions and distribute prizes among the best performers. People start practicing months ago to take part in these competitions. Most people consider this method the most ideal way to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi. According to him, expressing his true love for the Prophet is no other way than reciting and listening to the Holy Quran.

Allah- The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) himself has described his creation from the very beginning. He says: "I was transferred from pure offspring to pure mercy. I was born not by adultery but by lawful marriage. When God sent Adam to earth, He put me in His backbone." He put me in his ark and greeted Noah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in his ark, and then in Ibraaheem (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). " (Tafsir Ruhul Bayan, Volume 3, Page 54)


Whoever celebrates the Prophet's birthday will not be severely punished. Those Muslims who want to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) happily will not be punished in hell. Imam Bukhari (may God have mercy on him)." Alayh narrates that Abu Lahab will be given a light punishment in Hell on Monday because he rejoiced and set his maid free by pointing his finger at her when the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) was born. Therefore, as a reward of happiness on the birth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), he will be given water with his finger. (Saheeh Bukhari, Vol. 2, p. 764)


The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) celebrated his birth by fasting. Imam Wali-ud-Din writes this story with reference to Sahih Muslim. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about fasting on Monday.
it is said by Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H): "I was born and revealed to me the Quran on the day." (Musk Sharif, page 179)
