1. Kalima Tayyibah (The Word of Purity)
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ
Lā ilāha illā-llāh, Muḥammadur Rasūlullāh.
Translation: There is no deity but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
2. Kalima Shahadah (Declaration of Faith)
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
Ashhadu an lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, wa ashhadu anna Muḥammadan ʻabduhu wa rasūluh.
Translation: I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, the One, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
3. Kalima Tamjeed (The Word of Glorification)
سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ
Subḥānallāh, wal-ḥamdu lillāh, wa lā ilāha illallāh, wallāhu akbar. Wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāhil-ʻaliyyil-ʻaẓīm.
Translation: Glory be to Allah, and all praise be to Allah; there is no deity except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. There is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
4. Kalima Tawheed (The Word of Oneness)
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ، وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu-l-mulku wa lahu-l-ḥamdu, yuḥyī wa yumītu, wa huwa ḥayyul lā yamūt, biyadihi-l-khayr, wa huwa ʻalā kulli shayʼin qadīr.
Translation: There is no deity but Allah, He is One and has no partner. His is the Kingdom and His is the praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is living and does not die. In His hand is all good, and He has power over all things.
5. Kalima Astaghfar (The Word of Seeking Forgiveness)
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ رَبِّي مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ أَذْنَبْتُهُ عَمْدًا أَوْ خَطَأً سِرًّا أَوْ عَلَانِيَةً، وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنَ الذَّنْبِ الَّذِي أَعْلَمُ وَمِنَ الذَّنْبِ الَّذِي لَا أَعْلَمُ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ وَسَتَّارُ الْعُيُوبِ وَغَفَّارُ الذُّنُوبِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ
Astaghfirullāha rabbī min kulli dhanbin adhnabtuhu ʻamdan aw khaṭaʼan sirran aw ʻalāniyyatan, wa atūbu ilayhi minadh-dhanbilladhī aʻlamu wa minadh-dhanbilladhī lā aʻlamu. Innaka anta ʻallāmu-l-ghuyūbi wa sattāru-l-ʻuyūbi wa ghaffāru-dh-dhunūbi, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāhil-ʻaliyyil-ʻaẓīm.
Translation: I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, for every sin I committed knowingly or unknowingly, secretly or openly. I repent to Him from the sin I know and from the sin I do not know. Indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen, the Concealer of faults, the Forgiver of sins. There is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
6. Kalima Radd al-Kufr (The Word Rejecting Disbelief)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ شَيْئًا وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ بِهِ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَا أَعْلَمُ بِهِ، تُبْتُ عَنْهُ وَتَبَرَّأْتُ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالشِّرْكِ وَالْكِذْبِ وَالْغِيبَةِ وَالْبِدْعَةِ وَالنَّمِيمَةِ وَالْفَوَاحِشِ وَالْبُهْتَانِ وَالْمَعَاصِي كُلِّهَا، وَأَسْلَمْتُ وَأَقُولُ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ
Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu bika min an ushrika bika shayʼan wa anā aʻlamu bihi, wa astaghfiruka limā lā aʻlamu bihi. Tubtu ʻanhu wa tabarraʼtu mina-l-kufri wa-sh-shirki wa-l-kidhibi wa-l-ghībati wa-l-bidʻati wa-n-namīmah wa-l-fawāḥishi wa-l-buhtāni wa-l-maʻāṣī kullihā. Wa aslamtu wa aqūlu lā ilāha illallāhu Muḥammadur Rasūlullāh.
Translation: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from associating anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do not know. I repent from it, and I disown disbelief, polytheism, lies, backbiting, innovations, slander, indecencies, falsehood, and all sins. I submit to You, and I declare: There is no deity except Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
