When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) migrated from Makkah and came to Madinah, he reached Quba in Rabi Ul Awwal. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) built the first Islamic mosque in Quba in Rabi Ul Awwal. Therefore, the first Islamic mosque was also built in Rabi Ul Awwal. When the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) left the Quba, he laid the foundation of the second Islamic mosque in Yathrib. This mosque is known as Masjid Nabawi in Madinah. The two mosques remind us of the beauty of Islam and the first migration of Muslims from Mecca to Medina.
